60 FOOT SHEETS GOING TO THE AMAZON

Gulf Synthetics is supplying 60 foot sheets of Polaris 1580 sheetpile for several projects deep into the jungle along the Amazon River.  The construction is unique because it is using a new tie back system that consists of giant sandbags and grid to support the soil.  The river drops 50 feet in eleavation for 3 months of the year and so the timing of the installation must be precise.  Look for further updates on these projects.
